Comparison
SayScreen vs Clueso
Clueso and SayScreen are the closest pair on this site: both use AI to script, voice and polish product videos. Clueso usually starts from your recording, document or prompt and adds articles, translation and avatars; on Enterprise, its browser agent can also record a demo account for you. SayScreen does one job: an AI drives your web app and makes a narrated, edited tutorial.

Clueso or SayScreen: which should you choose?
Choose Clueso if…
- You want videos and step-by-step help articles from the same recording
- You need translation on every plan, or voice cloning and custom brand kits on Enterprise
- You want avatars, motion graphics, AI images or chat-based editing alongside screen recordings
- You're an Enterprise team that wants an agent to record videos and update them when you ship
Choose SayScreen if…

- You'd rather sign in to your app yourself than hand over a demo account's credentials: SayScreen never saves your password
- You'd rather count videos than export minutes: 30 videos a month, each up to 10 minutes
- You want to watch the AI work live and review the script before you publish

Where Clueso and SayScreen differ
How the recording happens
Clueso's everyday workflow starts with you: record a walkthrough with its Chrome extension, or upload a recording, deck or document, and Clueso rewrites the script, replaces the audio with an AI voiceover and adds zooms. Its browser agent, which records the flow itself, is part of the Enterprise plan. In SayScreen the AI records every video: give it a start page and a lesson, and it drives a real Chrome browser through your app.
Signing in
Clueso's agent needs login credentials to a demo or staging account in your product. SayScreen's Check access shows your app's own sign-in page right inside SayScreen, where you sign in yourself (single sign-on and 2-step codes work), and it records with that session; the AI is instructed never to type credentials.
Beyond the video
Clueso does more around the video: step-by-step articles, a hosted help center, translation on every plan, avatars and motion graphics. SayScreen makes the video itself (a 1080p MP4 plus an .srt file) and leaves hosting to your help center or video host.
Pricing
Clueso meters export minutes: Free gives 10 minutes a month with a watermark, Solo 15 minutes for $50 a month ($40 billed yearly), and Business 30 minutes for two users at $150 a month ($120 billed yearly). SayScreen is $1 for your first 7 days, then $29 a month for 30 videos, up to 10 minutes each.
