SayScreen does not record you. You give it a page address and a sentence; it writes the narration, shows you the script, then records the walkthrough itself with an AI voice, a moving pointer, camera moves and captions. Is SayScreen a free Loom alternative?
For narrated walkthroughs of web pages, yes: it is free with a daily allowance of videos rather than a lifetime cap of 25, and the mp4 downloads without a watermark. For recording yourself and sharing a link with your team, no; that is what Loom is for and SayScreen does not do it.
Does SayScreen make a shareable link?
No. You download the mp4 and host it wherever you like, including a video platform, your help centre or your own site.
Can SayScreen record my camera?
No. It records the web page only, with an AI voice.
